Adolf Ravn (1905-1967) is a master butcher of the 4th generation, Robert, his son (1926-1996) master butcher, Aksel (1931-1998) master butcher, Leif master butcher and Kurt become the 5th generation butcher in the family, none of their children carry the tradition till the next generation.

Adolf's father, Jens Nissen Ravn (1880-1935), had a butcher shop in Ribe, he was also a restaurant-keeper till his dead in 1935.

Jens Nissen Ravn's father, Claus Hansen Ravn (1845-1917), was a master butcher with a butcher shop in Randbøldal close to Egtved in Vejle County.

Claus Hansen Ravn's father, Erik Clausen Ravn (1815-1888), was a master butcher in Veerst, Ribe County, Denmark
